Safety at Northcourts
Northcourts
has been licensed by Reading Borough Council as a house of
multi-occupation.
Safety and security is very important at Northcourts and all safety
measures, such as smoke alarms, fire alarms, fire extinguishers,
emergency lighting, are checked regularly by professional contractors as
per regulations.
An Electrical Safety Certificate is held and renewed every five years.
The gas boiler is serviced annually by a registered by a gas contractor
certified by the Gas Safe Register (formerly known as CORGI). |

Fire Precautions
This includes fire alarm system, smoke alarms, emergency
lighting, fire extinguishers, fire blankets and room
doors.
Fire precautions have been provided in this property by
the landlord to protect your health and safety.
Personal possessions should not be stored in corridors
and the staircase area.
Tampering with fire precautions risks lives.
Damaging the fire precautions provided by the landlord
is against the law and you could be prosecuted. |
