Northcourts is a large Victorian house situated at the Christchurch Gardens end of Northumberland Avenue which runs parallel to the A33 in South Reading, close to Reading University and the Royal Berkshire Hospital, opposite Cintra Park. A short walk down Whitley Hill to the Oracle and the Town Centre.

Living Space
The house is split into 8 bedsits and one small studio flat. The bedsit residents share showers & toilets located on the 1st floor. There is permanently available hot water along with gas-fired central heating. The heat levels in each bedsit can be adjusted by means of a valve attached to each individual radiator. The rooms are double-glazed.

	Each bedsitting room contains a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, chair. Each also has a television (with Freeview channels) washbasin,fridge-freezer,combination microwave with a built-in grill and convection oven, kettle and toaster. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a duvet and pillows, also crockery, cutlery, cookware and glasses.
The house is protected by a fire alarm system and there is a smoke alarm in every room. EU-approved fire doors are fitted as per Safety Regulations. The public areas of the house, including the bathrooms, are cleaned three times each week.
The house is centrally heated by a gas-fired boiler which is certified as safe once a year by a gas contractor certified by the `Gas Safe` Register (formerly known as CORGI).
