The windows at Northcourts are all double-glazed and the communal
central heating is controlled by an individual valve on each radiator in
each room, which allows the tenant to decide upon how warm they wish to
be. |

Every bedsitter has a
washbasin, providing constant hot and cold running water and kitchen
area with a fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. |

| Northcourts
has a CCTV camera aimed at the front door to give residents security
confidence. |
| Mail is
delivered to a basket on the front door and sorted into a wire rack.
Please check daily to see if you have any post. |

All public areas and bathrooms are
regularly cleaned. |

Communal Facilities |
| A
vacuum cleaner and ironing boards are stored in the
Foyer for use by residents. Please return these items
once you have finished using them as other residents
will be waiting to use them as well! |

| The
entrance hall accommodates a payphone for use by
tenants. |

Fire Precautions |
| Each room has
its own smoke alarm, fire blanket and the doors are all to European Fire
door Standard. A Fire Alarm Break-glass is accessible on each floor of
the building, along with fire extinguishers on each landing. Central
lighting is kept on at all times for ease of movement at night. The Fire
Alarm and extinguishers are checked on a bi-annual/annual basis by a
certified contractor. |

Public areas, that is the foyer, stairs
and landings and the shared showers & toilets are cleaned three times a
week and toilet rolls are provided. Residents are requested to clean and
tidy up the showers & toilets after use with the equipment provided –
other people will be using them too! |
| The house is
centrally heated by a gas-fired boiler which is certified as safe once a
year by a gas contractor certified by the
Gas Safe
Register (formerly known as CORGI). |
